In an exciting Event Manager role where you’ll have autonomy to own and develop webinars that directly impact revenue growth?


Working in great offices in Manchester city centre and a fantastic benefits package?


You'll be working closely with the marketing and sales team, and other teams within the business to ensure webinars and in-person events run smoothly and effectively, and deliver against lead and revenue targets.


You will own the webinar plan for UK and Ireland, managing events end-to-end, from pre-event promotion to lead management into sales.


The Role:


Working with another Events Manager, your remit will include:


Webinars

  • Manage the operations of webinars (both live and simulated-live) for UK & Ireland from set up to post-webinar – from scheduling and hosting prep calls, all the way to on-the-day speaker support and post-webinar debrief
  • Deliver sales blueprint including the launch of all new webinar series, sales training, sales support collaterals, reporting and insights to meet targets
  • Create briefs for marketing team to support webinar promotion (e.g. social media brief, email marketing brief, design brief) and drive registration and attendance of webinars
  • Work with subject matter experts to plan webinar topic and create webinar content to ensure they’re educational and present the company as a thought leader in the space - and ultimately drive sales opportunity and revenue
  • Manage partner webinars end-to-end, from coordinating with partners, to post-webinar debrief on an ad-hoc basis
  • Regularly attend competitor/ industry webinars to take learnings, recommendations and trial new approaches


In-person Conferences/ Events


  • Coordinate booth materials, handouts, merchandise, travel team, speaking slots etc for in-person events
  • Working with event organiser to set up event booth and in-booth engagement activities
  • Work with wider marketing team to create pre-event promotion materials and post-event follow up materials
  • Create pre-event toolkits and organise briefing sessions for the relevant and on-the-ground sales team


Reporting


  • Prepare and distribute regular lead reports for sales teams and marketing teams
  • Reporting on webinars and in-person conferences, and lead performance to reach KPIs


The candidate:


  • 3+ years of experience managing webinars and in-person conferences end-to-end
  • Experience in using webinar platforms (GoToWebinar, Goldcast and ON24 are preferred) and confident in organising live webinars
  • Experience in organising in-person conference attendance and working closely with the sales team
  • B2B experience is essential, B2B software experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills – working with both marketing teams and sales teams
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management, work well in a fast-pace environment and able to deliver before deadlines
  • Not afraid to challenge and be open to challenges
  • Good understanding of commercial targets
