Senior Events Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Events Manager to join our team at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), part of GCHQ. As a key member of our Events team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile stakeholder events that showcase the NCSC's expertise and reputation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of events professionals to deliver a range of events, including conferences, workshops, and networking sessions.
- Develop and implement event marketing strategies to promote the NCSC's events and brand.
- Manage event budgets, vendors, and logistics to ensure successful event delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify event opportunities and develop event concepts.
- Oversee the planning and execution of event content, including speaker management, agenda development, and event programming.
- Ensure events are delivered to a high standard, meeting the NCSC's quality and brand expectations.
- Proven experience in events management, preferably in a similar role or industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple events and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of event management software and tools, including CRM systems and event registration platforms.
