Now, with the help of Hollywood set-designers, West-End actors and more than a sprinkling of magic, the event is keeping the magic of Christmas alive for thousands of children every year.
Role Summary:
As an Event Administrator you will play an essential role in supporting the People Manager by handling administrative tasks, facilitating communication and ensuring the smooth operation of organising our commercial staff/elves. You will be one of the faces representing our Commercial department throughout the recruitment process all the way to the end of the live event. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the hiring manager in processing new applicants
- Assess staff availability and produce staff schedules for each outlet, following up onsite to make sure correct staff have arrived for their shifts and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain the Commercial email inbox, and action any queries or forward to correct HR advisors or Managers
- Train across Retail, Food & Beverage and Warehouse to have knowledge in each area that make up our commercial department
- Produce daily call sheets for management
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Comfortable with being first point of contact for employees on site and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Windows & Microsoft applications
- Great organisational and problem-solving skills
Comp & Benefits

- Pay rate: £13 per hour, and any outstanding accrued holiday pay paid at the end of the event
- 20% discount in our Elven Village during our specified Staff Shopping Events
Working Hours
During recruitment phase hybrid working: 19th August – October 19th; 3 Days per week: Wednesday’s 9:00 – 18:00 at Camberley Theatre, Thursday & Fridays working from home 9:00 – 17:00. As we approach training days to live event (21st October – 24th December) this role will increase to 5 days a week; Varied Shift work on site at Ascot TBC. We are looking for those who can reliably commute to Camberley & Ascot for the duration of the contract and are flexible within their working patterns. This is a Zero-hour contract, please note that while these dates are outlined, there is the possibility of change.
