This is a great opportunity for an experienced Head/Sous banqueting chef to head up the banqueting kitchen at this award-winning hotel in the Retford area.

This property facilitates a busy wedding trade throughout the year with wedding sales increasing year on year. This property also offers conference and banqueting up to 200+ covers. They are now looking for a highly experienced and motivated Banqueting Head Chef to head up this busy operation.

As Banqueting Chef you will run this busy function kitchen, catering for up to or up to 200+ covers. Your main focus will be ensuring everything runs smoothly for each and every wedding and function/banquets, so you must have very good organisational skills. You will also be involved in menu writing. Be responsible for hitting targets, maintaining stocks and above all be in control of budgets. You must overall be hands on and lead by example.

All applicants MUST have at least 2 years experience within a Busy Banqueting kitchen in an award-winning hotel/venue and be used to running allot of weddings/banquets to very high standards.
You should be an existing Head/Sous chef.


This Head Banqueting Chef will be rewarded by a salary of up to £40,000
Working House of 45-48 hours a week
