*About the role*
This is a permanent full-time position working approximately 36 - 42 hours over 3 shifts per week. Applicants must be flexible to work a range of shifts, including late nights. working shifts across a 7-day operation.
As Catering Manager, you will provide customer service to guests arriving at the venues that is flexible and responsive to their needs ensuring the smooth operation of the wedding venue.
Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, management of staff and expenditure. Deliver the strategic and financial objectives agreed for the service.
Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained at all times
To be responsible for training and inspiring a local team to ensure high standards of customer service
Liaise with the venue events managers and develop a productive working relationship
Control site cleanliness in areas that Jenkinsons Caterers are responsible for
Maintain statutory and company requirements with all hygiene, of Health and Safety regulations and environmental legislation and procedures.
Ensure good methods of stock rotation are implemented
To accurately collate end stocks and drink requisitions
Implementing standard operating procedures
*Who are you?*
We are actively seeking applications from catering professionals with at least two years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry. Passionate about guest service, ability to lead from the front and strong leadership skills.
Given the Venues picturesque location and late finish times, having full UK driving licence and personal transportation to travel, is a requirement of the role for commuting to the venue.
