What you’ll be doing:
  • Lead andmanage a team of professional Supply Chain Staff and Managers inthe delivery of the Supply Chain Functional Strategy and Plan,specifically in support of the area / portfolio that has beenassigned to the individual
  • Provide support and assistancein the development of key strategies, policies, and procedures toenhance product quality and customer satisfaction (internally andexternally)
  • Provide strategic direction /vision in all areas of responsibility in order to achieve businessobjectives in line with corporate requirements
  • Support the delivery of theproduct by ensuring that direct reports have purpose and clarityand are empowered to meet key delivery targets on time and withinbudget
  • Actively promote crossfunctional working in order to augment and achieve key knowledgetransfer and promote best working practices across the business

Essential:

  • MCIPS orequivalent level, relevant, professional qualification (mandatory)

The Supply Chain Team:

As a Senior Supply ChainManager at BAE Systems, you will be deployed to some of our majorprojects, leading, enabling & empowering the team to deliverour key programmes through integrated management and development ofPeople, Process, Toolsets & Reporting. This is a Fast paced,commercial procurement environment with a varied range ofdevelopment opportunities, working as part of a diverse team todeliver part of the UK’s National Defence Programme. We offerrelocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject tomeeting eligibility criteria.
