THE ROLE
The Business Development Manager plays an important role in delivering profitable sales of artisan desserts and ice cream for Destiny Foods.
The main purpose is to grow the independent business in North London, Oxford & Cambridge areas, focusing on hospitality, including hotels, restaurants, leisure facilities and sporting venues.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- To increase the sales in your designated area by bringing new business to the Company.
- To grow and develop the existing customer base, by introducing them to our full range of products.
- Introduce premium ice cream to our existing customers.
- Following up on leads given from the internal team
- Follow company procedures on pricing and payment terms.
- Manage the relationship with the customer to ensure all opportunities and queries are managed to retain the customers long term loyalty.
- Provide accurate reporting and information within the correct timeframe.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must be self-motivated and have good organisational skills.
- The ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
- Be passionate and interested in food.
- Experienced in selling to the food industry.
- The candidate will live in close proximity to London.
- Commercially minded chefs will also be considered for this role.
PACKAGE
- 37.35 hours working week
