This role offers the chance to drive sales growth for a respected MRO supplier, providing services and products for manufacturing environments across the UK and internationally.


We're looking for a driven Business Development & Account Manager to join our client. You'll be the face of a well-established company, growing their presence in the fasteners market. If you've got a mix of relationship-building and hunting for new business, this could be the ideal role


The Role:

Reporting to the Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Nurturing Existing Clients: Develop strong relationships to uncover additional needs, ensuring client satisfaction and maximizing their value.
  • Hunting for Growth: Proactively target and win new accounts across various markets - your research and initiative will be key.
  • Proposal Power: Work with our team to craft persuasive quotes that close deals.
  • Market Know-How: Be the expert on industry trends and competitor moves, using this to advise clients and boost our client's strategy.
  • Visibility and Networking: Attend events and client visits, building our client's brand and your own network.


The Candidate:

Understanding of MRO Sales: Experience in the MRO sector, especially fasteners, is a must.

Mix of Skills: Ability to manage accounts strategically while actively seeking new clients.

Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills for building lasting client connections.

Independent and Driven: You thrive working from home but value in-person collaboration.

Passion for the Sector: You're genuinely excited by the world of MRO and eager to learn more.
