Main Responsibilities of an Operations Assistant

  • Manage the commission system, handling invoicing, data input, and report generation to streamline workflows for Admin and Sales teams.
  • Track and reconcile outstanding commission payments, update spreadsheets, enter payments, generate sales commission reports, and address commission queries.
  • Handle CRM data management and company reporting, including data input and bulk uploads.
  • Ensure all customer complaints are addressed according to our procedures.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining internal processes and documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with energy suppliers, organise meetings, and manage new supplier onboarding.
  • Provide project assistance as needed.
  • Manage cash flow and invoice processing.
  • Perform informal credit control and follow up on supplier payments as required.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent verbal & written communication.
  • Strong numerical skills, analytical and data driven.
  • Knowledge of Zero Accounting Software (preferable not essential)
  • IT literate with ability to solve minor issues.
  • Good organisation and time-management with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Proven success in marketing management, particularly in B2B marketing, generating MQLs, and supporting Sales/Business Development teams.
  • Experience collaborating with industry partners and vendors to plan and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate activities across UK and US offices.
  • Strategic and creative thinker.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Experience and Digital Technology.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms such as Salesforce, Sitecore, and Adobe is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
