Key Responsibilities:
As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in the Maintenance team, providing first-level oversight of both internal and external operations while managing daily maintenance tasks and project work related to infrastructure.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with the Operations Manager, Programme Manager, and fellow supervisors to plan and execute projects within set timelines and contractual obligations, ensuring KPIs are met and providing regular updates.
- Monitoring project timelines through information gathered from various sources, identifying critical activities for successful project delivery, and maintaining up-to-date records.
- Managing key performance indicators relevant to project execution, utilizing task management systems for client requests, and reporting monthly progress.
- Overseeing health and safety documentation, ensuring compliance with minimum standards, and preparing completion certificates as required.
- Delivering technical briefings and toolbox talks to staff, managing productivity targets, assisting with emergency responses, and coordinating necessary repairs.
Candidate Profile:
This Team Leader position is ideal for individuals who:
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities and can inspire and motivate team members.
- Possess experience in managing high-profile contracts within the highways and traffic management sectors, with a solid understanding of network operations and project delivery.
- Hold relevant certifications such as SMSTS or SSSTS and possess a valid driving license.
