We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Dove Ward, Kingfisher Court. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our service users with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Take charge of the unit in the absence of the Team Leader and provide leadership and guidance to junior staff.
- Identify individual care needs of service users, plan, implement, and evaluate care programs in conjunction with the nursing team and multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in ward rounds, case conferences, and other meetings, and prepare reports on service users as required.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Relevant professional qualifications, including RNLD and up-to-date registration.
- Management/Leadership qualifications or a willingness to attend leadership training.
- Education to degree standard or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preceptorship and Mentorship/ENB 998.
