Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient delivery/pick-up service to our customers, ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained and records are up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide reliable and courteous delivery/pick-up service to customers with safety as top priority
  • Operate and maintain assigned vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and other assigned tasks
  • Work under the direction of the Team Leader Logistics and Senior staff
  • Provide a first-class decontamination sterile service to the Operating Theatres, nursing departments, and other relevant paramedical departments
  • Carry out other packages or goods between hospitals or units as required
  • Assist the production staff with supporting duties, including stores management
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all customers, internal and external to CHG
  • Promote and maintain Health & Safety at all times
  • Wear the company uniform as provided
  • Be flexible and adaptable at all times to meet the unit's needs

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license for the UK with a clean driving record
  • General qualifications required are a willingness to learn/develop and be flexible at all times
  • The ability to undertake lifting duties as required
  • Experience of using a tail lift and driving long wheel-based vans
  • Ability to work both nights and days
