The project is a high value data centre for a blue-chip organisation My client are looking for an MEP planner who can add significant value supporting the project team as it transitions from construction to fit-out, MEP installation, commissioning and handover.

What will you be doing?

  • You will manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
  • Review schematics and gain understanding of the MEP installation and commissioning strategy.
  • Understand the major project milestones and agree with the lead project planner.

Let’s talk about you…

  • Be an advanced user of Asta, and have a working knowledge of other planning software such as MS project and P6.
  • Have experience of projects with heavy MEP and commissioning elements, such as those in the technology or manufacturing sectors.
  • Possess detailed knowledge of: mechanical, electrical and commissioning, including installation techniques, best practice and single system commissioning requirements, construction build elements, including sequencing and dependencies, design processes and design programmes.
  • Be able to assist in value engineering and C2P project strategy and demonstrating programme benefits.
