Your new role
Working on the largest highways project in the region involving a new 10 mile dual 2-lane carriageway, we are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your main responsibilities include:
Oversee Management of Subcontractors - certification of payment and change
Undertake management of allocated Control Accounts with site team, including value draw and out-turn forecast / spend profiling
Keep Costs records and agreement of costs with National Highway Site Representatives
Assist in the Utilisation of Site Commercial and Document Systems (Oracle, CEMAR, Projectwise, Forecasting Tool)
Be responsible for the procurement of packages as the Work Proceeds

What you'll need to succeed
Good working knowledge of contract/commercial law
Experience with NEC forms of contract
MRICS or CICES desirable
Degree or equivalent in commercial related subject
Good Communication Skills
Previous experience of managing subcontractors
Knowledge of commercial digital systems
