Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of assigned projects, tracking performance against contractual timelines, and reporting any issues to Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the financial aspects of assigned projects, tracking performance against contractual timelines, and reporting any issues to Project Managers.
  • Submit monthly progress applications for ongoing projects.
  • Review tender allowances and submit variation requests.
  • Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with clients.
  • Develop and update spreadsheet analyses regularly.
  • Ensure cost control is upheld throughout the procurement, delivery, and design phases, continuing through to the final account stage.
  • Adopt a commercial mindset to proactively identify and propose cost-saving measures within the business.
  • Generate monthly cost and value forecasts.
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation.
  • Support various day-to-day Quantity Surveying tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Worked on large commercial projects.
  • Quantity Surveyor or similar.
  • IT skills in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
