We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at a busy pub and restaurant. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and maintaining a smooth culinary process.

## Duties

- Supervise kitchen staff to guarantee efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards

- Maintain food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen

- Assist in food preparation, and presentation

- Support the Head Chef in managing inventory and ordering supplies

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment

## Experience

The successful candidate should possess:

- Previous experience working in a busy restaurant kitchen

- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate kitchen staff

- Proficiency in culinary techniques and food production processes

- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices

- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver high-quality dishes consistently

Desirable Skills:

- Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications

- Familiarity with various cooking methods and techniques
