The HR Consultants is a boutique consultancy, providing outsourced HR support to businesses across the UK. In short, we help organisations to create a place that their people love to work, through a full range of outsourced HR solutions (including, you guessed it – recruitment).


Our services cover the full employment lifecycle including recruitment, HR advice, HR administration, training, people strategy and everything in between.


We have an extensive range of clients who work with us on an ongoing, retained basis for generalist HR support. Our relationships with our HR clients ensure we know their business, their culture and their people extremely well, therefore we are perfectly placed to provide recruitment services – and THAT is where you come in

We're building our recruitment consultancy team and need people who are self-motivated and results-driven, with a love for sales, spotting opportunities and providing a service to a high standard.


You will naturally work with tenacity and drive and have the ability to build and maintain client relationships, while delivering high-quality candidates.


This role is an excellent opportunity to be a pivotal part in building and driving our recruitment service. The best bit is you’ll have a huge, ready-built list of warm prospects, who already work with us on our wider HR services, now they just need to hear from you about how we can support them with recruitment. Easy peasy

WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:


8:45am: Cruise into Stratford upon Avon and park at the nearby multi-storey, then make the 5 minute walk to the office (it’s good to get those steps in).

8:55am: Chit Chat with colleagues by the cake/coffee station.

9:01am: Log on, see what’s in your inbox and respond to any replies from clients, prospects or candidates.

9:20am: Team meeting with the HR Squad to update on the open vacancies they’re resourcing for (I said we were cool).

9:45am: First prospect call of the day with one of our retained HR clients to find out what they’ve got on the horizon when it comes to recruitment plans and for you to share some recruitment market insights.

10:30am: Second prospect call of the day – you just love talking to people about recruitment

11:15am: Follow-up with thank you emails and hopefully some proposals

11.30am: Did someone say coffee and cake at the office bar?

11.45am: It’s time to hit the phone and get cold-calling external prospects – let’s win some business

12:45am: LUNCH (get out a take a walk in beautiful Stratford)

1:45pm: It’s time to update a client on the vacancy we’re recruiting for and book in some interviews

2.30pm: Blast through some more prospect calls and get proposals out to them.

3:30pm: One-to-one time with your line manager to update on all the lovely roles you’ve won and how close you are to hitting your monthly new business goal and how much commission you’re going to make

4:30pm: Check everything is up-to-date in HubSpot with all the brilliant work you’ve done today

5:00pm: Log off, enjoy an end of day cocktail/mocktail with colleagues, or head home

*every day will be different and you'll be largely responsible for your schedule


Salary: Uncapped commission + £25K – 30K basic salary dependent on experience

Holiday: 26 days

Location: Hybrid working with 3 days in Stratford on Avon
