National Account Manager

Assured Talent is partnering with a fantastic multinational company in the non-food category. The role is home-based, but you will need to be able to travel to their headquarters in Manchester twice a week.

We are seeking someone with experience managing Aldi, Lidl and other discounters.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meet revenue and margin targets, expand distribution, and enhance profitability
- Retain and develop client portfolio for long-term loyalty
- Establish communication channels with stakeholders and departments
- Create and update strategic account plans, including mutual objectives and performance reviews
- Collaborate with Marketing on annual promotional plans
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct monthly analysis of account performance
- Manage time effectively to achieve goals.
- Evaluate and mitigate client risk
- Ensure timely contribution to mandatory reporting and data points
- Foster deep relationships internally & externally
Key Selection Criteria:
- Previous strong experience working with Discounter or Wholesale Accounts with a demonstrable positive track record
- You will have a minimum of 5 years experience working with the FMCG sector
- Results-oriented individual
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build successful business relationships, internally and externally
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong analytical mindset
