Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10-12 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools, particularly Playwright and Selenium with C#/Python.
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps, including test management, requirements traceability, test planning, and defect management.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute end-to-end automation testing strategies at both theoretical and practical levels.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with experience guiding teams in testing best practices and strategy development.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup and management of test management tools within Azure DevOps, covering requirements traceability, test planning, test labs, and defect management.
  • Coordinate with product managers, developers, business analysts, designers, and testers to understand requirements and translate them into robust test frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to test frameworks, providing hands-on guidance and support where necessary.
  • Engage in hands-on testing as required, ensuring comprehensive coverage across various types of testing, including Unit, Smoke/Sanity, Functional, System, SIT, Integration, Regression, and UAT.
  • Ensure compliance with standard tools and frameworks, delivering quality assurance in line with organisational standards.
  • Coach and mentor team members to build a strong understanding of test strategies and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Plan and strategise testing activities for complex systems, including scope definition, release/sprint planning, and resource management.
  • Design and execute detailed functional test cases for complex requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs and quality standards.
  • Automate tests throughout the entire lifecycle of the product and data flows, from ingestion through to the presentation layer.
  • Maintain high-level familiarity with testing strategies, providing expert advice on Functional, Regression, Interface testing, and UAT support.
  • Proactively identify risks, flagging issues on time and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure quality deliverables within project timelines.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, coordination skills, and stakeholder management, working effectively across diverse teams and geographies.
