What you'll be doing:
- As our Director of Sales you will take responsibility for the achievement of the revenue target for your venue whilst supporting the other properties in the collection.
- Create and implement a cohesive, pro-active, Sales and Marketing Plan.
- As a member of the Venue’s Senior Management team, play an active role in the development of the venue’s Business Plan.
- Build long term, profitable client relationships with your accounts that enable account revenue growth and retention.

- Responsible for developing a sales culture for the venue, acting as the sales ambassador demonstrating expertise and motivation
- Take responsibility, attend and contribute to the sales strategy meeting
- Be the visible sales leader within your venue
- Be fully engaged with the TVC sales and marketing plan and also the Lime Venue Portfolio (LVP) sales activity calendar
- Ensure you are conversant with your property’s sales forecast and need periods so that pro-active activity can be undertaken
- Research and profile local market clients and ensure they are targeted for business
- Carry out comprehensive competitor analysis for your property in order to be aware of future market risks and opportunities to capture market share
- Work with the venue teams to acquire and follow up on all sales leads
- Attend relevant events and exhibitions as required
- A strong understanding of the Conference and Event UK market
- The ideal candidate will also previously have worked within the hotel/hospitality sector
- The role requires flexibility with regards to working hours
- You will be required to travel to all TVC properties which may require overnight stays
- To be successful in this role, it is essential that you are naturally confident, highly driven and have a focused and ambitious nature
- You will have a proven track record of developing and winning new Conference, Event and Corporate business
- A track record of retaining and growing existing customers
