We are seeking a meticulous Supply Chain Coordinator to join an established team in Burnley, focusing on the wholesale distribution of fresh produce and short-life products to food outlets, including hotels and restaurants. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal stock levels and managing forecasts to ensure the continuous supply of high-quality fresh products to clients.


Ideal profile:

  • Experience in a supply planning or buying assistant role within the food sector
  • Knowledgeable in negotiation and supplier management
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately manage stock levels and forecast for the assigned product range
  • Collaborate with the Senior Buyer to analyse product range performance and coordinate new product launches
  • Drive efficiency and reduce waste by managing optimum stock levels
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain stock quality
  • Support the Purchasing Team with seasonal product transitions and events planning
