Job Description: As the Event Operations Manager, you will be at the forefront of event execution, ensuring seamless operations and extraordinary guest experiences. You will lead a talented team and collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and internal departments to deliver events that reflect our edgy and vibrant style. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of event coordinators, chefs, and service staff.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.
- Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and venues.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and services.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of all event-related supplies and services.
- Logistics and Operations:
- Oversee the logistics of event setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Coordinate transportation, equipment, and staffing requirements.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during events and implement effective solutions.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Gather feedback post-event and implement improvements for future events.
- Financial Management:
- Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Monitor expenses, track financial performance, and report on event profitability.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event management, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
