Our extended family company, Veevers Carter has an opportunity for a Senior Floral Event Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end design and production of our creative floral installations. We work with household brands and this position is a pivotal role, fitting into an established team of people who are genuinely passionate about flowers and events.

**Who are you?**
- You are a people person with a real passion for delivering creative, unique floral designs for every client.
- You are highly skilled in all areas of floristry
- You follow market and design trends and will come to the table with new and exciting ideas
- Large-scale installations do not phase you and smaller bread and butter installations do not bore you
- You are able to remain calm, efficient and productive in what can often be a high pressure and demanding environment
- You have a persuasive and confident approach to creative projects.
- You are an effective team player and working collaboratively comes naturally to you.
- A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints, you appreciate that a job needs to be commercially viable as well as beautiful.
- You have a minimum of 4 years experience working with event flowers/ project management.
- Sustainability is important to you, and you are keen to help the wider company work towards our 2030 Net zero pledge.

**Day-to-day activities**:

- Working with event producers, account managers, and end clients to provide design thinking both on-site, in our office, and studio.
- Providing creative, beautiful mood boards, and detailed and accurate quotations for jobs in a timely manner.
- Working with our operations team to ensure detailed requirements are acknowledged well in advance of the event, including vases, flowers, props, crew, and transport.
- Working with producers and account managers to ensure each job is a success from end to end - including conceptual design, quoting, buying, creation, and installation.
- Closely managing the budgets and ensuring that profitability is at the heart of decision-making.
- Create a voice in the market about Veevers Carter and proactively seek out opportunities and develop lasting client relationships.
- Collaborating with other internal departments including technical and scenic to ensure that each installation runs smoothly, appreciating that a successful event is about all the pieces coming together smoothly.
- Effectively managing multiple stakeholders including external clients & freelance florists.
- Liaising with prominent venues across London and beyond.
