The overall effect of the hotels 160 guestrooms and suites, including seven signature suites that echo the glories of Café Royals past, is calm, assured and distinctive.

Your role:

As our Director of Revenue you will become part of a small, yet specialised team with specific responsibility for that provision of a dedicated Revenue & Distribution service on behalf of Café Royal in order to maximise Rooms, M&E & F&B revenues across the business. Reporting into the hotel General Manager, with a dotted line to the group VP Revenue, Reservations & Distribution, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of yield management and revenue duties in order to coordinate rate loading within our PMS in line with our budget and forecast across online distribution systems. You will be responsible for managing the integrity of Data across all of our systems in order to effectively extract and analyse revenue streams and produce a range of weekly and monthly Revenue & Business reports for the Senior Management team. Another important aspect of your role will be working closely with our E-commence and Online Marketing Executive to support Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click to ensure Revenue targets are achieved in line with online marketing strategies and campaigns to drive and develop direct bookings via our own site.

Your strong analytical skills will also be key in the implementation and execution of strategies to maximise rev-par, set rates, develop promotional packages and make forecast recommendations in order to ultimately drive average rate, occupancy and revenue. On a day to day basis youll undertake a range of daily Revenue analysis duties tracking pick up and reservations reports to manage rates accordingly along with ad hoc projects, competitor research and supporting the larger sales and reservations teams as required.

With a meticulous eye for detail you never miss a thing, ensuring that all information submitted is 100% accurate and in line with company Revenue policies and procedures. Superior communication skills are also required for this role as you will engage in dialogue with departmental heads to ensure they understand current revenue strategies and promotions and how they affect their part of the business.

Your profile:

You will epitomise the very essence of 21st century hospitality; with a natural flair and elegance for service, and a passion and enthusiasm for providing a luxurious level service that is both confident and calm. As a true Revenue professional you will be well versed in business operations and have the finesse to execute a range of Financial and Analytical tasks with accuracy and precision.

Its likely youll already have a background in Revenue & Distribution, ideally gained in a Luxury hotel or similar industry that implements advanced yield management processes within its business. Your communication skills will be exceptional with the ability and confidence to build strong working relationships at all levels of the business and to connect and converse effectively with suppliers and senior management.

Your IT skills will need to exceptional across all Microsoft packages with an Advanced Level of Excel including the use of Macros and VBA programming. Candidates with experience using Micros Opera, Vision, IDeaS RMS and TravelClick products are of particular interest.

  • Strong Revenue Manager/Director required for prominent Luxury Hotel
  • Full Time position, predominately office hours with occasional evenings or weekends
  • Previous experience of working within a similar Revenue capacity within a multi-outlet luxury hotel, airline or luxury tour operator essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills a must including an excellent level of spoken & written English
  • An advance level of Excel is required for this role, candidates must be proficient in the use of Macros & VBA programming
  • Candidates with experience using Micros Opera, Vision, IDeaS RMS and TravelClick products are of particular interest
