This role will suit a very organised individual who has experience in events or transferable skills. They will be working in a small, busy events department that supports around 40 events throughout the year. The events team works across different areas and with different teams within the Datateam Business Media Group. They will report to the Events Director.



The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the events and exhibitions that fall under the individual's jurisdiction and ensure the smooth and efficient organisation of these events/competitions. With support and guidance from the Events Director/Events Manager and other appropriate colleagues.

To manage communication with all levels of staff, clients and suppliers, ensuring maximum support, understanding and participation.

Support colleagues within the Events Department


Qualifications

This individual will need to be proficient in Excel, Word and email. Ability to communicate effectively and accurately across all channels, e.g. phone, email, social media. Be well organised and ability to multi-task, working across several events at the same time.


You will be based in Maidstone. Please only apply if travel to Maidstone is not an issue.
