Belmond Hotels is currently seeking a talented and passionate CDP Baker to join our esteemed culinary team at The Cadogan. As a CDP Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and pastries for our luxury hotel. You will work closely with our Head Pastry Chef to create delectable treats that exceed our guests' expectations. Join us at Belmond Hotels and be part of an iconic brand that offers exceptional travel experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods, following recipes and techniques provided by the Head Pastry Chef
  • Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies
  • Assist in creating and developing new recipes and menu items
  • Ensure all baked goods are produced in accordance with quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with the pastry team to ensure seamless production and service
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Baker or Pastry Cook
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Food safety and sanitation certification is a plus
  • Availability to work very early shifts
