What will I be doing?

You’ll be part of a team who provides food beverage service across the restaurant, bar and conference areas. In your role you’ll be tasked with looking after the guests from the moment they enter the restaurant until they leave and managing the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

The management of the Restaurant and Bar operation within the hotel and responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience within the restaurant.
Lead and motivate team members through effective communication, training and development.
Assisting with and ensuring all HR procedures are followed.
Promote and contribute to a harmonious working environment where all team members are treated with respect and dignity.
Ensure the interior, fixtures and equipment of each food and beverage outlet are properly maintained and presented, both inside and out, with the highest standards of cleanliness and housekeeping.
Ensure quality standards and procedures are fully implemented and regularly reviewed throughout the food and beverage outlets, ensuring feedback is used to ensure continual improvement.
Ensure that all team members are in the correct uniform and are well presented.
Reporting into the Food Beverage Manager.
Participate in the effective promotion of F and B outlets
Any other duties requested by management which are reasonable and within your skill set

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have:

Prior experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant manager is essential.
A customer service focussed mindset and obsession with delivering high quality service.
The ability to coach and develop the workforce to deliver the highest standards of hospitality
A working knowledge of the guest journey and the ability to carry it out on a day-to-day basis
Self-motivation and a proactive approach.
Strong organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
The ability to maximise revenue growth opportunities.
