Job Title: Light Commercial Vehicle Technician

Location: Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3SB

Salary: Up to £34,000 basic salary + uncapped bonus – OTE £40,000+

We have a turnover of approximately 250 million and employs over 700 members of staff across 12 dealerships and 1 dedicated service centre.
We are looking to recruit a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our busy service team in Stockton-on-Tees.  Our performance has been continuing to grow as well as being recognised for the quality of service provided to our customers.
As such we require a self-motivated individual, who is able to use their own initiative to work alongside our existing team in our busy service department.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting diagnostic tests on light commercial vehicles to identify issues and provide accurate repair solutions.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repairing and replacing parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and prevent future issues.
  • Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Level 3 NVQ in automotive maintenance and repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various mechanical and electrical issues in light commercial vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
