Job Overview:
A well-established construction firm in based in Belfast, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage private residential projects based in Newry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential construction, with a strong focus on cost management, contract administration, and budget control.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial aspects of private residential projects, from initial estimates to final accounts.
  • Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and address financial or contractual issues.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, particularly in private residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and project delivery.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Quantity Surveying software.
  • Full UK driving licence.
