What you’ll be doing:

  • Being accountable for all related Supply Chain activity in line with area of responsibility
  • Communicating effectively with functional and external stakeholder management and deputise for the Procurement Leader as required
  • Contract management – major subcontract & transactional
  • Expectation for supplier visits on a regular occasions
  • Working alongside the Electrical IDT
  • Maintain, reporting and managing information in line with programme requirements

Your skills and experiences:

  • Supply Chain, Procurement or Project Management experience
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management
  • ERP & PLM System knowledge
  • Microsoft Package User
  • Experience of working within aerospace, defence and/or MOD packages

The Electrical IDT Procurement team:

As a Procurement Professional at BAE Systems, you will be working centrally to support deployed Supply Chain Professionals, enabling & empowering the team through the delivery of People, Process, Toolsets & Reporting on the SSNA programme. This is a Fast paced, commercial procurement environment with a varied range of development opportunities, working as part of a diverse team to deliver part of the UK’s National Defence Programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
