Job Title: Procurement Leader (Site & Facilities Estates & Services)

Location: Preston or Barrow-in-Furness - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

**Salary**: c£50,000 dependent upon experience

What you’ll be doing:

- Supporting the development of the category strategy and implementing the strategy, promoting cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement to ensure full, thorough engagement and buy-in to procurement strategies
- Leading all aspects of the end-to-end procurement process, including: supplier due diligence, sourcing, invitations to tender, negotiation and placement of contracts and supplier development activities
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to optimise engagement and communication at all times and ensuring supply chain requirements are understood and supported through the interaction with other functions and internal and external stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining purchase orders in SAP ERP
- Contributing to the team’s monthly reporting cycle, including: cost savings/cost avoidance, Supplier Performance Reviews (SPRs) and managing procurement metrics
- Using business systems, including: SAP ERP, Coupa and SharePoint to ensure high quality, accurate information relating to procurement activities is maintained in accordance with document management and procurement policy and process

Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

- Proven experience of working in a Procurement environment and / or educated to degree or equivalent standard
- Possess a good standard of Procurement competence in key areas of Sourcing process knowledge, Contracting Skills, Financial Awareness, and Supplier Management

Desirable:

- CIPS qualification held (or willing to gain)
- Construction background / Construction Procurement experience
- Facilities Management background / Facilities Management Procurement experience
