You’ll carry out functional assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life, and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. From September, this will include PIP assessments and Work Capability Assessments (WCA) You’ll work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders. The client will make sure you get the time you need with each customer to undertake a quality and respectful assessment. Are you - An NMC-registered adult or mental health nurse with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience in the UK A proactive and keen learner with excellent oral and written communication skills Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports An expert clinician experienced in working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions The client also provides opportunities to increase your income including a £1,500 additional skills allowance, paid overtime and incentives, also an annual bonus scheme and various company-wide benefits that promote financial wellbeing You can work the hours that are right for you and continue with any ‘bank working’ arrangements you may have. There are no bank holidays, evenings or weekends.
