Job Overview:

Arm designs the technology that lies at the heart of advanced digital products from mobile, home and enterprise solutions to embedded and emerging applications. Operational management is central to delivering this technology within each of Arm’s business groups.

The Engineering Efficiency team within Arm Operations sits across the Arm business to ensure successful delivery of projects. We are responsible for evolving a strong governance framework, a robust project delivery process, training and development to evolve our people, the tools to enable successful projects and the data and reporting to understand delivery status and to support decision-making.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and trusted business intelligence professional with good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will enjoy both working independently and multi-functionally to design and present information that adds real value to business.

The team provides business reports through a combination of business intelligence tools and various data sources. We are growing our report portfolio to introduce new visualisations and metrics to meet evolving business requirements. Our expanded portfolio will enable internal customers to view multiple data types alongside each other, to build a more comprehensive and valuable view of their business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Build data queries that provide actionable, concise, and presentable data-driven insights
  • Maintain existing reports/dashboards and data interfaces
  • Ensure accuracy of required Performance Indicators in the Engineering Ops Divisions and all it’s departments.
  • Continuously improve the accuracy and efficiency of data provided to Engineering Ops and Quality teams
  • Work with leaders to provide timely, accurate and relevant data
  • Explain trends from data sources and find opportunities for improvements in the assigned Engineering Ops Division
Required Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, there needs to be a real passion for business intelligence and how it can positively contribute to the business environment, as well as demonstrating the following capabilities:

  • A track record of using quantitative and qualitative analysis to generate insights, thus driving better organisational decision making.
  • Clear and concise communication, able to convey complex business logic, and analytical recommendations
  • Excellent analytical skills: Quickly understand and articulate the business drivers, options, and benefits for a wide variety of business analytics.
  • Experience with Data Visualisation tools including MS Power BI and Tableau
  • Share our core values and work in accordance with those values.
Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
  • SQL knowledge and/or Database testing experience
  • General understanding of data warehouses and ingestion methodologies (e.g. Snowflake, ETL, ELT)
  • Developer platform/tool industry experience
