You will provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to our team of therapists and ensure the delivery of high-quality and effective therapeutic interventions to our neurodivergent clients and their family members. Working closely with the executive team, you will drive the development and implementation of our clinical programs, while maintaining the highest standards of care.

  • Team Management and Supervision: Oversee and manage our team of therapists, providing guidance, supervision, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence in counseling practice.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to understand their needs, address concerns, and gather feedback. Engage in ongoing communication and collaboration to improve our services and outcomes.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Clinical degree (e.g., Psychology, Counseling, Social Work) and relevant professional licensure.
  • Extensive experience in providing counselling services, preferably with a focus on working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of clinical professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for autistic individuals.
  • Familiarity with the unique needs and challenges faced by the autistic community.

  • A commitment to cultural competence, inclusivity, and person-centered care.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines governing counselling services.
  • A passion for the mission of supporting autistic individuals and their families.

Please note that this is a volunteer role initially, but we aim to transition it into a paid position once we have established funding. By joining us as the Volunteer CCO, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause and be part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact on the autistic community.
