Our client, a leading entity in the aerospace sector, is on the lookout for a Senior Satellite Payload/System Antenna Engineer to join their innovative team in the United Kingdom, with opportunities in Manchester, Stevenage, or Didcot (Harwell Campus).Key Responsibilities:Developing and validating requirements for various antenna/payload communications subsystemsPerforming trade studies, modelling, simulation, and other forms of analysis to predict performance and optimise designSupporting the business development team with customer engagements and solution developmentDefining and conducting tests to validate performance of antenna/RF designsDeveloping test plans to identify test approach, resources, schedules, and cost estimatesSpecifying requirements for hardware, software, instruments, and support equipment to meet test objectivesJob Requirements:Experience in systems full lifecycle, including design, development, and validationProficiency in RF design and embedded C/C++ programmingExperience as a Systems EngineerUnderstanding of systems design principles and methodologiesExperience in developing antenna simulation tools and using antennas such as phased arrays, elements coupling, and scanningBackground in RF building blocks including LNAs, filters, combiners, SSPA, TWTAs, and oscillatorsExperience working with ESA processes and projects is highly beneficialDegree in engineering; a Master's with emphasis on RF payloads and/or antenna theory is a plusIf you have a passion for aerospace and are ready to join a purpose-driven, collaborative team dedicated to expanding our place in space, we encourage you to apply.
