My client is looking for an experienced Customer service advisor to join their small friendly team based in Ferndown, Dorset.

They are a well-established Family run Business, looking for a customer service advisor with experience of customer service support, sales and other office duties. You will be speaking to customers both via the phone and on email, so good communication skills are key. You should also have good geographical knowledge for this varied and mixed role.

As a small business you will naturally be a multitasker who is flexible in your approach. You must be a superb organiser, great time management and have the ability to prioritise your workload. This role may also require you at some stage to do some local / last minute deliveries as well as work in the stores offering holiday cover so a candidate who is very much a Team player is required.

Duties include:

  • Answering the telephone and dealing with clients in a polite and courteous manner
  • Dealing with incoming emails
  • Handling Sales enquiries
  • Logging and responding to customer queries quickly, prioritising workloads
  • General Office duties will be required
  • Working closely with the delivery / stores Team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have excellent Customer Service
  • Have good MS Office experience including Word and Excel
  • Have good geographical knowledge across the South Coast
  • Have min 2 years + office admin experience
  • Be a quick learner
  • Team Player
  • Must hold a Driving Licence (for potential deliveries)
  • Physically fit due to the nature of the work.
