My client is seeking a skilled Commercial Property Technical Claims Handler to join our dynamic and experienced Commercial Claims team on a hybrid basis.


About the Role:

  • Provide expert technical knowledge to drive positive outcomes on individual claims and for the overall claims team.
  • Support the team to achieve improved technical performance and meet indemnity/quality targets while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Guide the team, resolve queries, and develop professional and technical capabilities.
  • Act as a technical referral source for claims handlers in the Property claims team.
  • Coach the team on handling multi-faceted and higher value claims, aiming to increase license levels within the team.
  • Manage a small caseload of £10k claims where appropriate.


About You:

You will play a crucial role in guiding and coaching the team to enhance their professional and technical skills. Your experience in resolving complex claims queries and problems, and ensuring correct technical outcomes on supplier-supported claims, will be invaluable.
