Gallery Events Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Events Manager to join the Gallery Events team at the National Gallery.
The team sits within the Development Department. Working with colleagues across the National Gallery, we plan and deliver a busy programme of events designed to support our fundraising and stakeholder engagement objectives. These events are hosted by the Gallery, on and offsite, and occasionally internationally. Events include exhibition openings and previews, dinners, private visits, breakfasts and supporter’s events. The team plan and deliver events for the Trustees and the Director’s Office and are involved in the forthcoming reopening of the Sainsbury Wing.
We are looking for a driven Events Manager with a background in internal events for a museum, charity or similar cultural organisation. The successful applicant will have the ability to plan and organise high-profile and logistically complex events in a high security building not originally designed for that purpose.
