The Product Development Manager will lead the development and execution of innovative products that align with Study Group’s strategic goals. This role involves managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring that new products meet market needs and drive business growth. The Product Development Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.


ABOUT THE ROLE


  • Develop an understanding of Study Group’s key customer pain points (university partners and international students) to identify opportunities for new products
  • Develop an understanding of Study Group’s competitors globally to ensure pitch and positioning of new products are competitive
  • Develop and implement product development initiatives that align with company objectives and strategy.
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps and product definition documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions.
  • Oversee the design and development of new products.
  • Working with key stake-holders ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all new products have an excellent learning and student experience
  • Working with the Product Operations Officer, lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful business case presentations of new product initiatives which clearly outline opportunity and Study Group’s capabilities alongside new product initiatives and rationale
  • Work within Study Group’s Project Management framework to ensure that key milestones, resource needs and project needs can be supported by the PMO to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, and other departments to support product launches and ongoing product management.
  • Ensure timely and clear hand-over to BAU team of new product initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive products.
  • Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine products.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Implement best practices in product development and project management.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance to identify areas for improvement.


ABOUT YOU


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proven experience in product development or product management.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience of working in a matrix environment
