Role Description:

This is a full-time role for a Director of Sales. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, and building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and National Account Managers.

Director of Sales key responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the local hotel markets based on intelligence and knowledge of competitor activity and rates, resulting in increased revenue generation through focused sales activities for Local and National Accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Complete and execute hotel sales plan, review and update in line with strategy and hotel business needs.
  • Overall accountability for hotels RFPs both local and national ensuring all stakeholders are consulted during negotiations.
  • Using data and market research conduct telesales and campaigns to identify opportunities for hotels.
  • Overall accountability for hotel Group and M&E business performance.
  • Maintain an up to date Pipeline of target business.
