The CompanyWe are working with a forward-thinking organisation undertaking a major payroll transformation project. With Workday Payroll scheduled to Go-Live on 1st April 2026, this is an exciting opportunity to join the project team and play a key role in shaping the future of payroll operations.The RoleAs a Payroll Project Specialist, you will report directly to the Payroll Manager and be based at the Leeds Head Office, with hybrid working considered.Your responsibilities will include:End-to-end testing of Workday Payroll functionality, following test scripts and documenting outcomesRecording testing activity using JiraAnalysing payroll results to ensure accuracy of payments and deductionsEnsuring all payroll transactions are compliant with UK legislation and internal policySupporting payroll parallel runs and BAU team activitiesCreating processing materials and SOPsActing as a Workday change agent, coaching and supporting payroll colleaguesContributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll service deliveryCompleting specific pay period tasks as required by the Payroll ManagerWhat You Will NeedProven Workday Payroll processing experienceRelevant payroll qualification - ideally CIPP qualified or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of UK payroll and pension legislationExcellent...
