Data Analysis Specialist (English and Korean Speaking)


Methods are looking for an English and Korean speaking Data Analysis Specialist to work on a 4 month initial programme of work. The role will be completed with a hybrid wat of working, with the successful candidate being on site in the Chertsey based office location 3 days per week.

Please note the role has been confirmed to fall Inside IR35.


PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Data Analysis Specialist role is primarily focused on running, extending and enhancing data analytics with Data Analyst.

As a Data Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for generating data report and get providing insight to senior management with digitalized documents.

Also, using various systems to gather information such as SCM and ERP.

Reporting to the Data Analyst who will work closely with you and supporting team to deliver to achieve key targets. And you will be involved in various different work streams.

You will need to be able to hit the ground running and pick up in-flight workstream.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Data Analyst during each task-stream and initiatives are set up for successful delivery.

• Gather requirements, design, and implement data pipelines for extraction, transformation and loading of data.

• Source and acquire data from various relevant systems.

• Analyse of datasets to pull-out insights and share findings to stakeholders

• Transform raw data into structure to be utilised internally for various purposes.

• Generate various reports to provide insights and correct information to senior stakeholders


SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Essential –

• Knowledge/Skills of the MS Office suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong academic background in numerical related fields such as maths, statistics etc.

• Experience in data gathering and proposal write-ups

• Analytical thinking with the ability to pick up new ideas and subject matter quickly

• Structured and methodical working practices and ability to pick things up quickly

• Excellent Korean/English Speaking, Reading and Writing skills

• Able to work collaboratively within the analytics team

• Very strong relationship building and influencing skills

• Good interpersonal skills


EXPERIENCE:

Essential –

• 1+ years of exposed to the MS Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

• Strong Excel skills to super user level. E.g pivot tables, data queries

• Evaluate and query large unstructured datasets and provide meaningful insight and reporting metrics


Advantage -

• A subject matter expert who is fully versed with processes and platforms

• Previous industry experience analysing customer data in a D2C (Direct to Consumer) marketing focused team.

• Understanding of eCommerce business and processes

• Cross-functional team player with a strong mix of skill and culture experience
