About the accountancy firmPentagon Talent are partnering with a forward thinking and modern Top 10 accountancy firm to recruit for a Payroll Assistant Manager in their Gatwick office. They are a leading firm with a long standing reputation who provide premium service to help their clients thrive. Our client are a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services with a large global presence.Duties and responsibilitiesOur client are on the look out for a driven and talented Payroll Assistant Manager. In this position you will carry out a range of duties and responsibilities, these duties include but are not limited to;
- Working closely with and supporting the Payroll Manager.
- Ensuring the firms payroll for over 4,000 staff and related remuneration and benefit packages are run properly.
- Ensuring all staff are paid the correct amount on time.
- Supervising and supporting the payroll administrators.
- Processing staff starting and returning from maternity leave.
- Processing leavers.
- Updating sickness reports.
- Completing P11D reporting and childcare voucher assessments annually.
Qualifications and skills requiredIn order to succeed as a Payroll Assistant/Manager you have several years of experience working in payroll for an organisation. You will have good communication skills and be a team player.What's on offerOur client offers a competitive salary package with a regular salary review. Hybrid and flexible working are also available. You will be joining a sociable and friendly team based not too far from the Crawley station.
