Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Gameplay Programmer at Vertpaint Studios. As a Senior Gameplay Programmer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing game mechanics, systems, and features. You will collaborate with the game design team to create immersive and engaging gameplay experiences. Additionally, you will optimize code and ensure high performance and stability.


Qualifications

  • Experience working with the Unreal Engine
  • Game Programming, Gameplay Programming, and Programming skills
  • Understanding of Game Design principles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with different departments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field


Additional (non-essential)

  • Experience working with character locomotion systems
  • Experience working with Unreal Engines "Control Rig"
  • Experience working with animation/IK systems
  • Experience working on first person titles
