Business Development Manager

This job will be a home based role in the Southwest of England.
The BDM will manage a region and be responsible for the broker and introducer relationships within that region and the quantity and quality of business produced by those partners.
You will support the National Relationship Manager with the wider Sales and Marketing strategy for the commercial lending division:
- Working closely with NRM on strategy and approach.
- Working with the full spectrum of specialist commercial finance brokers mortgage brokers and financial advisors
- Working with internal sales teams constructively both supporting and delivering feedback on process and service.
- Working with the marketing teams to support partners and central marketing requests
- Working with the internal New Business Specialist Lending and Credit Team to build an open relationship where feedback can be given and shared.
Qualifications :
This is an ideal opportunity for either an experienced real estate BDM or an individual with a background in mortgage administration/mortgage underwriting/internal sales who is looking to secure a fieldbased Business Development Manager role.
The successful candidate will have:
- An excellent understanding of the commercial/residential mortgage sector
- A proven knowledge of mortgage and protection products
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment within a small to medium sized organisation
