Our client is a international consultancy based in Central London. They have excellent relationships with a number of developers and end user clients & have delivered key projects throughout the UK and internationally. As a result of securing a number of new projects, our client is now looking to recruit a Senior Smart Buildings Consultant on a permanent basis to join their team in Central London.


As the Smart Buildings Consultant, you will be join an existing team delivering the design and implementation of Smart solutions through all stages of workplace projects.


The Smart Buildings Consultant responsibilities include:

  • Discussing initial requirements with clients and advise on broad range of technical solutions to support project delivery within budget.
  • Assist with specifications and design to support with the delivery of a broad range of projects
  • Use tools to deliver projects in a structured and methodical manner
  • Contribute to develop of design tools and processes
  • Record and report information
  • Research and communicate new technologies to the wider teams within the company
  • Mentoring and support of junior staff


Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of Smart Buildings, Building Management Systems, IoT equipment or products
  • Familiarity with trends in technology
  • Previous experience working for a multi-disciplinary consultancy
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as Smart Score (AP) or Chartership
  • Broad project experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • MS Office skills (Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
  • Excellent presentation skills
