The Pharmaceutical Procurement Specialist role is one that requires a really commercially minded and partner-driven approach to doing business. You will work closely with an existing network of suppliers, whilst also looking to build new supplier relationships and seeking innovative sourcing opportunities that will support continued business growth.


You will will be responsible at both a strategic and commercial level for the company's procurement and sourcing activities into the market, so will work cross-functionally to enable you to succeeding in this role.


We are looking for candidates for the Pharmaceutical Procurement Specialist who can demonstrate the following:


  • Extensive experience working in a Procurement, Sourcing or Buying role within the Pharmaceutical field (prior experience within the Pharmaceutical sector is a must for this role).
  • An outside the box thinker, who can find solutions where others see problems.
  • Strategic outlook on procurement activities and understanding of global market factors that impact sourcing of products.
  • Natural relationship builder, who is comfortable and confident in negotiating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Financially literate, with excellent business acumen - having a good grasp of margins, costs, etc. is key in succeeding in this role.
