- 12-month fixed term contract
- 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday shifts between 7:45am-10pm
Are you a talented and resilient individual keen to provide excellent customer service?
Our client, a leading provider of support services for local council, is looking to expand their team of Customer Service Advisors. You will join the team in providing a frontline telephony service and dealing with a range of care-related and emergency calls.
You will be playing an integral part within our client’s customer service operation, and the ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations is essential.
Please note that due to the nature of this team, they are open 365 days per year. Therefore, you will be required to work some bank holidays.
Daily duties will include:
- Aiming to resolve customer queries at first point of contact
- Identifying and assessing customer needs to ensure appropriate action is taken
- Accurately recording all information on internal systems
- Responding to emergency alarm calls and taking appropriate action
- Ensuring alarm units are tested regularly
- Promoting the service to support establishing a sustainable client base
- Installing emergency call units in service users’ homes and completing required paperwork
Required skills and experience:
- Ability to handle a wide range of enquiries in a contact centre environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate and ability to operate telephone equipment effectively
- Friendly demeanour and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Driving License and own transport
