Our client is a market leader in renewable energy, from the development, design and construction of large scale solar and BESS installations, to their operation and maintenance and market optimisation of BESS assets across the UK and Northern Europe. To date, the company has constructed over 120 grid-scale solar farms and 30 energy storage facilities, while its O&M service division has 1.6GW of assets under management.


Due to their phenomenal growth, they are seeking an FP&A Manager, as part of their growing Finance team. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Budgeting, Forecasting and Board Reporting for the group.


Key responsibilities:

  • Enhance and manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working with stakeholders to support the strategic direction of the organisation
  • Lead P&L and business review meetings with the leadership team
  • Developing the monthly reporting cycle, with reporting across the organisation of financial performance, comparisons with budgets and relevant KPIs
  • Incorporate enhanced variance analysis production for all group reporting purposes, including, detailed analysis and commentary on team/cost centre results
  • Develop dashboard of KPI reporting and analytics, for leadership team
  • Utilising BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance
  • Work closely with the financial accounting team to ensure accruals and reallocations are in line with expectations
  • Lead meetings with portfolio teams/cost centre heads to build their annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Support Human Resources as Business Partner

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified with 3+ years post qualification experience
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Use of Excel with experience building financial forecasts
  • General familiarity with ERP systems
