This Interim Tax Accountant (Corporation Tax / IR35) role will look after tax matters, leases and insurance

Our client is a leading wholesaler to the construction industry.

As Interim Tax Accountant (Corporation Tax / IR35) your duties will include:

  • Liaising with external tax advisors.
  • Submission of PAYE settlement agreements and working to improve data.
  • VAT returns preparation and review of submissions, investigating and resolving queries with the transactional teams.
  • Corporation Tax computations - using OneSource Tax Software, as well as preparation and review of supporting schedules.
  • Calculating the quarterly payment on accounts due for corporation tax.
  • Collection of information from other group companies to enable accurate CT600 returns.
  • Assessment of CIR and submission of return.
  • Ensuring compliance with IR35, including contract assessments.
  • Maintaining and updating tax risk register.

The most suitable applicant for this Interim Tax Accountant (Corporation Tax / IR35) have:

  • Demonstrable experiance of HMRC submissions and Corporation Tax (Essential) and employment taxes (PSA, IR35) & VAT.
  • Short notice period to start.

A competitive day rate with hybrid working and an early finish on Friday.
